JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, interviews and records responses of study/survey participants over the telephone or in person as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience in a Call Center, Help Desk or interviewing study participants preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Contacts potential study participants over the telephone.
  • Conducts scripted survey by asking study eligibility questions and recording answers on paper.
  • Schedules clinic visits and makes reminder phone calls.
  • Records accurately and consistently the interview into the computer study management system.
  • Completes progress reports as required by project manager.
  • Coordinates the recruitment information sessions and attend the weekly sessions to check people in and schedule their next visit.
  • Performs various other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
