JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Incumbent will provide support to external clients and EXL Surveys internal staff. Incumbent will communicate status, revision requests, customer policies and procedures between clients (agents, insurance companies, insureds, etc.) and EXL Surveys internal staff (managers, inspectors, coordinators, QC, and Account Managers) in a manner that is consistent with company policies, procedures, and standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for handling all disputes/questions from EXL Survey clients, inspectors, managers, and agents via telephone or e-mail while receiving and logging the information in the EXL Survey database. 2. Acts as the first responder contacting the client to update them with steps taken and estimated completion dates of projects. 3. Responsible for forwarding revision requests to all managers, tracking/logging the revisions, and contacting the client about the revisions once they are completed. 4. Responsible for contacting managers/inspectors in a timely and professional manner in order to update them with the latest information. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Monitors phone calls and e-mails and responds in a timely manner. 2. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 1. Must have basic knowledge in the use of computer equipment, software, and general office equipment. 2. Have the ability to evaluate information contained in reports and determine if the information satisfies procedures, policies, and requirements. 3. Have the ability to manage multiple projects at once and handle time sensitive urgencies. 4. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to convey information effectively to management and staff. 5. Must have excellent written and organizational skills. FORMAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: A minimum of at least one to three years of customer service or quality control experience. Certifications and Licenses:Required: None Preferred: None WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in the Castle Branch Office and Incumbents Home Office. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Visual: Normal activity required daily for making color distinction, depth of sight, preparing/analyzing figures, computer use, and written records up to 8 hours per day. Communication: Able to express thoughts and ideas in an accurate and understandable manner through verbal and written format with internal and external contacts 7-8 hours per day. Movement: Ability to maneuver within an office setting and in a variety of locations up to 6-8 hours per day. Fingering/Grasping/Holding: Have hand movement and finger dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer, fax, phone, and copier up to 7-8 hours per day. Travel: Travel on public transportation, including but not limited to public airlines, may be required up to 20 percent of the time.
